Dani Alves: I've not been offered a new Barcelona contract
The defender insists he is "relaxed" over his future as he enters the final six months of his current deal at Camp Nou

Dani Alves says he has not yet been offered a new contract by Barcelona - but insists he is not distracted by speculation over his future.

The Brazilian is in the final six months of his current deal at Camp Nou and can now begin talks with other clubs over a potential Bosman move at the end of the season.

The 31-year-old is adamant his primary focus remains on Barcelona, however, even though he claims the club have not yet offered him fresh terms.

"I have a contract until the summer," he told reporters in Barcelona.

"I'm a Barcelona player and I'm not interested in negotiating an exit. I want to finish these six months in the best way possible, and afterwards, we'll see.

"At the moment I've not been offered a renewal. But I'm relaxed. It is what it is."

Right-back has emerged as a potential problem for Barcelona, with Martin Montoya also expected to leave the club in 2015 and Douglas having made an inauspicious start to his Camp Nou career.

Dani Alves, however, insists that leaving the club light on options - they cannot sign any players in 2015 due to a Fifa ban - is not his concern.

"The problem of leaving them weak on the flank is not my problem, but Barcelona's," he added.
