One of Nigeria’s most influential pastors, the General Evangelist Worldwide of Christ Apostolic Church, Prophet Samuel Kayode Abiara sees no foundation behind the unemployment problem in Nigeria.
Speaking at the 29th anniversary of CAC, Agbala Itura, Lagos, Prophet Abiara, as he is widely known, said Nigeria’s natural resources could come in handy in creating plenty of workplaces.
“I believe many of you know that God has blessed Nigeria with different natural resources. Apart from oil, we have good soil, weather, and many other untapped natural resources. This means more jobs can be created through these resources if they are exploited.
“A lot of Nigerians are hardworking. Many people want to work but cannot find work. They even want to venture into business but are not encouraged. For instance, the roads are in terrible state and as a result many hours are wasted in traffic every day. Vehicles get spoilt easily, while many unavoidable accidents happen because of bad roads.”
The pastor advised Nigerians to shun aside negative commentaries about our country: “Put your mind at rest. Do not listen to prophecy of doom.”
Prophet Abiara is the founder and General Evangelist of CAC Worldwide, and chairman of CAC (Agbala Itura), DCC Worldwide. The ministry’s headquarters is both in Lagos and Ibadan. Prophet Abiara is also the Chancellor of Christ International Divinity College (CINIDICO) at Brinmo, Osun State. He is married to Evangelist (Mrs.) Christiana Aduke Abiara. The union is blessed with children and grandchildren.
